Lovers of German folk music, Johann Strauss and schläger are preparing an annual trip to the Köfele Festival in the South Tyrol, Italy. Laives (Liefer), the hometown of Rudy Giovannini will welcome him and other artists June 6 to 9, 2014.
Many of his fan clubs from around Germany, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland will make the most of the trip to enjoy further excursions in the Gardena Valley, the Abbey of Neustift and Sirmione, Garda and Lazise on Lake Garda. One fan club leader Gudrun Lutz, Salzstetten has organized the trip for a 40 passenger bus.
Giovannini, known as the Caruso of the mountains, is also set to perform on Sunday, March 30, at 2: 00 at the Town Hall in Kirchheim Jesingen. The 39 year-old singer is playing a gala concert on Sunday, October 26th, at 2: 00 in the parish hall after Salzstetten. The tenor has a Christmas concert again on Sunday, December 21, at 6: 00 in the monastery church in Klosterreichenbach in Baiersbronn.
Rudy Giovaninni has had a number of success in the German-speaking counties over the years, notably with Viva Strauss, an album in homage to the Strauss melodies which remained in the Belgian classical charts for almost 6 months.
